He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Eastern New Mexico University in 1981 and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from New Mexico Highlands University in 1982. His professional experience includes working as Director of New Mexico State University's Grants Campus from 1991 to the present.

Thomas G. Fitzgerald is Managing Director of BankNote Capital Corp., a private investment management firm. He is also President and Chairman of First Bancorp of Durango, Inc., the parent holding company of Bank of New Mexico and The First National Bank of Durango. Tom has been involved in New Mexico community banking since 2007 and Southwest Colorado since 1996.

Tom practiced law in Chicago from 1979 through 2000, having concentrated in corporate, banking and securities law. He was for a long time associated with the financial services industry in the Chicago metropolitan area, having served on the board of directors of numerous banks there from 1979 until 2007.

Tom also has been involved in ranching in New Mexico. From 1996 until 2014, he was an owner of the 183,000 acre York Ranch south of Grants. His family still maintains a ranch in Chromo, CO. Tom and his wife Joyce divide their time between New Mexico, Colorado, Florida and Illinois.

Ron is a native New Mexican who grew up in Albuquerque and has lived in rural New Mexico for over 15 years. He is a graduate of both the University of New Mexico (BBA) and New Mexico Highlands University (MBA). His banking career began in 1978 and he has over 35 years in the banking industry. Ron is an advocate for the communities in which he serves and for the independent community banks in America and currently serves or has served in various leadership capacities in local community organizations.

Mark Daigle has been the President and CEO of First National Bank of Durango since 2010. First National Bank of Durango is a privately held bank with $470 million in assets. Mark is a 30-year career banker having worked for BB&T, Colonial Bank and SunTrust Bank in Nevada and Florida. He graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration, minor in Economics. Mark is a strong supporter of the community and participates in fundraising for community development, the arts, and children. Mark, his wife Jennifer, and children Austin and Melissa enjoy all of the many activities available in the Southwest Colorado.

Terry Fletcher

Terry Fletcher has lived in Grants for 53 years. He is a graduate of Grants High School and the University of New Mexico. His career spanned 40 years in the mining industry and recently retired as the President of Rio Algom Mining LLC. He served as the President of the NM Mining Safety Commission, the Grants/Cibola County Chamber of Commerce, the Grants Mining Museum Board and Bank of New Mexico. He also serves as the treasurer of the Mount Taylor Winter Quadrathalon.

Larry Carver

Larry Carver has been a resident of Cibola County since 1947 and has been the President of Carver Oil Inc, in Milan, NM since 1968. Larry earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from New Mexico State University in 1968. He had been a customer of Grants State Bank since 1957. Larry also serves as Director for the Northwest New Mexico Solid Waste Authority, the Rio San Jose Flood Control and the Cibola/McKinley County Farm Bureau. In his spare time Larry enjoys farming and ranching.
